Well this morning with the new snow from last night i guess this is the new way to help the state melt snow off the roadway or the quick way to warm your car up for a little extra heat.

Just what people need on I95 for the morning rush hours.

CRISPY CRITTER! That's what all the hoodlums do around here when theya re done with a stolen car. Buring them removes any trace of fingerprints and such.....

If it was on the back of the deck, would you stop?

lol!  Actually, we been there, done that, sort of.

Guy calls for a tow because his Kia won't start at a billion degrees below zero, so we go to his house and pick it up...while we are setting down the deck, we see teeny little flames flickering from underneath the engine area by the firewall...  We jacked that car off the deck in a heartbeat!

Then Shawn threw a chain through the tie-down on the deck and dragged the car a safer distance from the house, (and then moved the truck out into the street!) while I hit the underside of the car engine with the fire extinguisher.

I couldn't get to the source of the flame, though--some kind of combined electrical and fuel problem from the owner trying to heat up the car with a weedburner in a coffee can. Go figure.  Even after pulling the battery cables the fire just kept re-igniting.

By the time the fire  trucks showed up, the car was just a crispy shell.

we had one catch fire on the bed after an accident...it cost the fire co $800+ dollars because they did'nt follow procedure. the car had a small fire from the accident they put it out but did'nt cut or discconnect any of the battery cables....the wiring or battery shorted out and reignited the fire. Also helps to have friends in the fire marshalls office to point out what they did wrong.
