 I am thinking of pulling the trigger on this I was told it needs a wheelift pin and the wear pads and the piston on the boom rebuilt because it leaks and some back rubber. I dont mind rebuild projects but a 7.3 with 130,000 is not to bad. your thoughts are greatly appreciated. I need all the help I can get dont believe me ask my wife! Body looks a little rough but thats to be expected with the snow and salt in that area. The pin on the wheellift head could be normal wear but is something that needs to be fixed if its real sloppy, probably the same with the hydraulic cylinders. I don't see a winch cable could that be another problem?

Rebuilt trans is a plus and as far as the 7.3 they only had predictable problems that really are't to hard to fix such as crank sensor and the occasional injector. you should easily get another 100,000 or more out of the motor, i got 230,000 out of mine before it blew but that was with multiple drivers.

The last thing would be whats the price their asking vs what repairs it will need.

i would buy it tell him 6 grand cash and bring it back from the dead   that 7.3 will run a long time as long as you keep good injectors in it and change the oil often
